Basketball (NBA)
The World Series isn’t over yet - YET, and the talk is all about the new basketball series. The NBA series is promising to be a good one with many changes in personnel compared to last season.
Not only are there plenty of Buzz posts, there are bets being created on a daily basis and even the odd pre-season video. Some of the Buzz posts are quite entertaining, some pretty challenging.
Like I said, the World Series isn’t even finished, however Philadelphia have high expectations of their sporting teams, particularly the Phillies. The Philadelphia 76ERS will be the next to feel the pressure as the home crowd look to build on the current success of the Phillies.
The fans are ready. The stadiums are ready. I believe the players are ready so let’s ‘play ball’ - basketball that is.
Read what the NBA fans have to say on the current teams and checkout the bets that may be available. If you have an opinion on the subject of NBA, or any other sport, then pay a visit to SportsViews.com.

Basketball (NBA)
Every sport has it’s top players - those men and women who everyone watches. Shaq has always been one of those players with the NBA. And now it looks as though he has started the countdown to retirement:
(source)Shaquille O’Neal told a Florida television news station Thursday that his basketball career will be over “in 735 days.”
In an interview with Orlando’s News 13 at an event at the Pine Hills Boys and Girls Club, the Phoenix Suns center said he plans to finish out the remainder of his contract. His current deal runs through the end of the 2009-10 season, and O’Neal said he would retire after that, even going so far as putting a specific number of days to his departure from the NBA.
Given that the story was reported on September 12 and it’s now the 16th, it’s a fair assessment to say that the countdown to retirement for Shaq is now down to the seven hundred and thirty one days. Most of his fans are going to be thinking about the the loss - some of them may not be thinking about it because, well, it’s not currently NBA season and therefore some of the seasonal fans aren’t as in tune and aren’t yet talking about the announcement - but that doesn’t mean that they won’t be soon!
